Dead Tree Trophy Kindly presented by Trevor Thomas
We were pleased to announce a new initiative for 2014, the Dead Tree Trophy, it is to be awarded to the skipper who achieves the highest placing at the end of the season sailing a Footy hull not made either by forming over a plug or using a mould process. Peter Shepherd was pleased to recieve the Dead Tree Trophy from it's donator Trevor Thomas for his winning boat Fat Boy Slim, since Peter has been sailing his Fat Boy he has taken every victory in this seasons Midland Footy league. We had hoped this new initiative would encourage some budding designers to try their hand at building, we are aware of a number of other Fat Boys under construction, and we will be continuing the dead tree trophy competition into next years competition which will be the Extreme Footy Series taking place throughout the Midlands region. |
