Footy Free Sailing Championship

For the first time Sailfootyuk are hosting a Free Sailing Event for Footys, the Footy free sailing rules have been in existing from the very  start of the class however as far as I am aware up until now have never been used. The major changes to note, apart from the lack of radio gear! is the fixed rudder (apparently now called a skeg!) and the allowed used of just one sail in an event. 

I am sure most of the regular Footy skippers have a failed experiment, or that hull that just doesn't quite fit the bill, perhaps an early build you were never quite happy with just waiting to be converted to a Free sailor so dig them out from the back of the workshop rip out the electronics and stick in place the rudder. Come along and join in the fun.
