Following on from the recent build article for the Fat Boy in the MYA's magazine "The Acqaint" we decided to add some additional details for the Fat Boy to the website to assist with the build.

The Shadow details are repeated here and can be downloaded in an A4 pdf format for printing at home by clicking on the drawing.

Once again the general arrangement can be downloaded in a pdf format although unfortunately not to scale by clicking the drawing, this latest drawing is also available as a full scale download in a dxf format. You will need to download a cad program to read it we recomend draftsight.
We recognise that for most hobbyists this is perhaps a step too far so for those who would like a full scale drawings of the Fat Boy these are available by post from our local copy shop, email them at [email protected] for the cosy of printing and postage to your location.

This version of the Fat Boy uses the Balanced Soft Sail Swing Rigs, you may need to move the mast step if you decide to take a different route.
Lately (well for the past two years actually) we have been experimenting with a higher aspect ratio versions of these rigs, the informatin given here should be read in conjuction with the soft sail build article & video on this site.
