XFS 4 took place in the town centre venue of Abington Park, with light winds it was BIg Rig weather with most of us having to dust off our "just'in" rigs, it was a little while to get everything in order.
John Burgoine was first out of the traps winning the first two races and building himself a decent lead during the early morning, however three race before lunch MYA National Champion Peter Shepherd started to put some races together, chipping away at John's lead. Peter Jackson was once again Mr Consistancy only once comin in outside the top three, Goeff Raygada was good value for his money in fourth place often challenging in the races, Sid sims as always was in the fight and the two local skippers Derek Lane and Tim Leese had a good battle between themselves.
An enjoyable time was had by all and we look forward to going to Cheddar at the end of the month.
It is still all to play for at the top of the leader board, the next competition in this series is in Abington Park 2nd July 2016.
