24th May 2016 Lovely sunny afternoon, wind up and down and variable in direction. Just nine boats entered. John Burgoine and Graham Tite fighting it out at the front with John taking the first three heats Graham taking the next two so everything hinged on the last heat Graham needed to win the last heat with John finishing at least two places back Graham went close. Allan Coleman came third overall, chased by Dave Peters. Two T's Roger, Mark and Sid all very close. Brian Morris had a fun afternoon. Nice to see our new member Tony Butler fresh from Radio WM? having a go. Thanks to Ian Apps for the refreshments and Clive for calling the line - great afternoon. (GS)  |
