Race 4 - BMYC Racing Series - 26th June 2012

Tuesday 26 June, there was wind about but one needed a bit of luck and wisdom to find it. The spectators, those who were not sleeping or reading newspapers were heard to make reference to 'watching paint dry', For the racing however there were several very exciting moments, several times all the boats arriving at the last mark at the same time and being 'out of control' the rule of the road was for others! This gave everyone a chance on the last very fluky leg to the finish after one lap. Congratulations to John Meredith the champion and Sid Sims for making a swing rig that sails forwards. We all benefited from a promise from John Robinson of biscuits but tea was made to a REME formula by Malcolm Watton from John Meredith's ingredients, and thanks to Allan Coleman for  keeping our timesheet.
