24th April 2012 Footy Event at Powells Pool

The second footy event of the year was again well supported with two visiting skippers Peter Jackson and Peter Shepherd traveling from Wicksteed club to join us (and being very competitive as usual). The wind played games with us shifting through 180 degrees between the 1st and 2nd races but mostly well within the range required for good racing. The Peter Henderson 1299 hulls seem to be the most used by the home skippers and it was nice to see how they fared against PJ’s Ice (one more race and it may have taken the day).
